I know what you're saying but you're wrong about how you think I see things.

Most of commercial rappers recorRAB because they know people that can make any faggot that can't even freestyle 10 bars off the top of his head, sound good...
A lot of these mainstream guys got put on because they knew someone. NOT because they are better... They sell recorRAB because people hear their shit and don't know what real hip hop is. They buy them for catchy hooks, catchy samples and beats, etc..

Many of the producers don't even make a single original beat, they sample shit and add a few drums and shit to the background, a bunch of adlibs and enhance their vocals .. that's it.. nothing original about that. A lot of these artists don't even write their own lyrics...
so what makes them better? They don't even put their own effort into all of the shit they sell!


I don't hate commercial rappers. I don't care for that. I listen to 50, Jay-Z and a lot of others that get a ton of radio play.. I am also not big on the underground. I listen to everything.. and i can find good artists in the underground and mainstream..

most of the shit i listen to early to mid-90s era of more or less mainstream rap of that generation. Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu - Tang were all big in 92-96 and were played by MTV.. that was mainstream and i was proud of listening to that and didn't give a shit...


Just right now.. there is a big lack of creativity and skill by mainstream rappers.
I know they are doing what they can to sell recorRAB.. and i don't hate them for that. Infact I give them props for making music that sells.. But I won't go ahead and call them "better" than some others that don't sell as many recorRAB..

They may make better dance music or better music suited for dumb fucks that don't know shit about what real Hip Hop lyrics are. But those that can appreciate good hip hop music will agree with me..

just see what is on the radio.. Murphy Lee, Nelly, Nick Gannon or whatever, bunch of no talent faggots...

They are better at knowing the right people who can write a bunch of bullshit, make a catchy hook from a 70s hit and make a single out of it and push it to idiots that think it's real hip hop. Actually.. i'll take that back.. it may be Hip hop.. but a big touch of pop.. a lot of good rappers put out commercial songs to sell recorRAB, which is perfectly fine.. Their albums have a lot of good songs that touch many subjects.. But certain rappers are just pure shit.. they should not be grouped with good hip hop artists because they sell as many recorRAB or more.. Everyone is hip hop, but some just suck at it and some people like a different kind of hip hop i suppose



And i never mentioned the whole sellout shit.. There are plenty of skilled rappres that sell a lot of recorRAB.. i don't judge by the recorRAB they sell.. i judge by their skills. Infact, I'd say most of the underground is garbage too..

Sure, it's good that they can find shit that people like... but that doesn't mean they are "better rappers"... shittiest bastard with no talent can sell a million copies.

Immortal technique is quite an artist, and he is better then fiddy. It would be tough to say who could battle better. I'm going with immortal though, He would hand jay his ass lyrically.

You can't hate on Jay-Z, noone is more consistent or real than Hov. Jay time and time again proves that he is the fuckin best. As someone before me has said "even on his worst day, Jay-Z is better than 95% of all other rappers on their best day"
 
That's cool and all, but I'm sure if you ask any well known rapper, they'll name off old school shit in with some newer shit as their all time top 5 rap albums if you asked them. And I'll bet any amount of money that not one will put any Jay-Z album in their top 5. He's maybe top 10, maybe, but I'd never put him as top 5. I'm not trying to piss on your liking for Jay-Z or anything, but simply opening your eyes to reality. I like Jay-Z, just not an entire album of his.

Yeah, so do I. Yeah, the G-Unit CD wasn't all that great, but he was just trying to help out his frienRAB there. Shit, Nelly did that. That makes him less of a sell-out. The shit that he's rapping about, yeah it makes it more real. All Jay-Z raps about is his bling bling and his whips. I like Jay-Z, but I just like 50 Cent more, that's all. You can say that you just like Jay-Z more then 50 Cent, that's fine, but don't try to say that you like Jay-Z more because 50 Cent is a sell out. Because from what you consider "selling out", Jay-Z is the biggest sellout in Rap.
