4ohm speakers on 8ohm load ?

I have a 8ohm reciever home audio I want to use 4ohm car speakers for surround sound 5 channels I want to put 2 speakers per channel to make the 8ohmload=8ohm speakers will this be safe on the reciever since it is now at 8ohms or should I run them 4ohms with 1 speaker per channel and other suggestions I want nice looking speakers for the boxes I am build and house speakers look terriable thanks.
 
sound will be distorted and your speaker will not last long, try to connect two of 4 ohms speaker in series and will come out as 8 ohms.
