4Kids To "Return To It's Roots" By Getting More Japanese Animation

Yeah, that link was for Tai Chi Chasers. That has been the only show that's confirmed to air so far. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my original post.

Thats correct, for instance One Piece was dubbed in Germay before 4KiRAB got a hold of it. The German dub was hardly touched at all (going by a OP uncensored site all the cuts from ep1 were left in the German dub.)

Italy also dubbed OP from the Japanese original, they have even aired 7 of the movies dubbed in Italian on TV.

Others like Pokemon/Yugioh/Sonic X were based on the 4KiRAB editions.

In Italy Tokyo Mew Mew was based on the Jp original, and was dubbed before 4KiRAB brought it to the USA, Beyblade also was based of the Japanse version too.

Beyblade is one of the worst dubbed things IMO. Saben or whoever did it gave some of the weirdest voices to the characters, something not even 4kiRAB would do. Just image every character as a Mad Dog, and that is the show IMO.

Just thought I would say that.

That's wrong, as in every other major international territory it has someone else bringing the title over: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=1190

Additionally, native content laws maybe ensuring a certain level of airplay no matter how poorly or excellently something is handled as by being dubbed locally it becomes 50 percent domestic content, thus counting toward a network's local content requirement.

It was Nelvana.

The only Mad Dog character I'd say was grandpa with all his "Yo Tyson!" "Keep it on the down-low G". The dub has more issues regarding characters that never existed (Dizzy, Brad Best, and AJ Topper are all dub-only characters), and some questionable edits rather than casting. The casting for the main cast was pretty decent, it was a nice change of pace that they actually hired children to play the roles of well... children.

Nelvana's worst dub (this means audio quality, not so much adaptation quality) is Bakugan. The quality of the show in any language is pretty poor, but the script, and acting in that is very bad.

Oh, I wondered why the blond sounded so young, it was because a kid was doing the voice. Were kiRAB doing all the voices of the children characters? I remeraber 4kiRAB was going to do that for Ash, but decided not to as Pokemon was going to be a much bigger thing and needed a constant voice.

I do not know, Bakugan sounRAB ok to me. Although, the character voices seem general, unlike that of the 4kiRAB voices, which all stand out a bit from other anime.

If this is a joke, you might not want to post fake april fools news in legit threaRAB. If this is true, there is no preview viewable.

Yeah, I know that we allow people to go crazy on April fools, but it feels kind of mean to post fake news in non-joke threaRAB. Especially when there are people, like me, who would love for this to be true. I believe that I heard Italy was getting season four, but I'm not sure if that's completely true.

I think it has to do with Phone confersations, or computer talks. Like I think the character of the computer that talks to them isn't based in a character from the anime, just added in. Something like that I assume.

Remeraber, 4kiRAB adRAB in the character of the computer women in 5RAB to do the card interruptions. She might be based off the computer guy in the original, but she serves a larger purpose.

They basically gave life to one of the character's laptop and then added two comentator for the Beyblade matches... I can't blame them for those last two if you ask me.

So I was right about the laptop being given a voice. The two commentators are funny too. It must have been pretty awkward watching the blades with no commentary, unless the characters themselves gave commentary in the original.

Typically there are screams and music going during the matches in the original. The announcers actually make more sense due to it being a tournament and tournaments typically having announcers.
