27 DRESSES - *ing Katherine Heigl, James Marsden & Edward Burns

I just saw this movie for the first time yesterday and thought it was really great :nod:
 
hey. just wanted to say i really liked this movie. I am totally not a chick flick kinda fan I like more action films but regardless this movie was really cute.

Was wondering if anyone knew the song they were singing on top of the bar? anyone have any ideas? I know the song but I can't for the life of me think of the title.

Totally love this movie!!!! :love: Saw it on Friday with a friend and am already looking forward to watching it again!
 
My friend lent me this the other week and to be honest I found it a bit boring and usually i'm a sucker for rom coms but this one seemed a bit :yawn:

A few scenes were good, like the bar scene when they're singing Bennie and the Jetts. Actually thats the only good scene that comes in mind and maybe thats because someone else has mentioned it.


Maybe I just need to watch it again when I havent got a lot on my mind. :cool:
 
I thought this was gonna be really bad so I didn't see it at the cinema but i needed 10 titles for my LoveFilm so just added it thinking i wouldnt watch it but when I did I really loved it, it was so funny and cute and I totally loved Jane, it was a sweet movie :D
 
I saw this a few hours ago and I didn't like it at all. I practically swore I'd never watch it, but I have a soft spot for James Marsden and I love Edward Burns so I gave in.

I only liked a few scenes and they all involved the brilliant and criminally underused Judy Greer.

I did think George and Jane had more chemistry than Jane and Kevin. Kevin looked like so much fun and so smart, but I don't think he seemed like Jane's type.

BTW, I love James Marsden so much. Kevin = :in_love:
 
I saw this movie today. Is it just me or was Jane's rude best friend in every romantic comedy as the best friend?

I would say that the movie was okay. The actors were great but the storyline needed a lot of work. I would suggest waiting untill this movie was on tv.
 
This movie was cute. James Marsden is HOT. Can't wait for the DVD to see some extras, bloopers, commentaries...etc. :)
 
I saw the trailer the other day and I can't wait to see this film. Katherine is amazing.

James can sing to me any day.
 
I like romantic comedies, and have seen a lot of them, but I LOVED this one. I don't know what it is about it, either....lol...I just loved it. It's one of my fav. romantic-comedies!
 
i thought they had amazing chemistry as well. i was kind of suprised and not, that the movie was good, and quirky and good! :)
 
I definately second that!
it is a bit cliched but then again what rom-com isnt? my dad said the ending was predictable, but seriousley who expects a huge twist at the end of movies like this, 'oh no look Kevin is actually an alien! :rolls_eyes: '!
 
i watched this yesterday...

it's actually just a typical romantic comedy, very cliche.. i've also seen a filipino movie similar to this with the girl being always a bride's made but never the bride. but regardless of its predictability... I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MOvies like these are a 50-50 to me. It's either I'll get REALLY annoyed.. or be totally enamored by it. In this movie's case, thankfully, it was the latter. I wasn't let down. Katherine Heigl and James Marsden are just so adorably charming. Plus.. I love Jane's rude best friend in this movie. she had one of the best lines.

It's far from being the best movie of 2007/2008.. but it's a nice, feel-good lazy weekend flick
 
That scene was awesome!! I saw it Saturday and i'm so ready to watch it again. I'm now counting down the days until the dvd is released. :)
