25 dollar plan

well I am trying to switch myself to the 25 dollar plan with unlimited text messages and then add the $5 voicemail/callerid package. so my total bill will be 30 per month instead of paying $50.

well the *611 can't do it and they said that the non full service cricket dealers can't do it either. this is a question to all the cricket dealers on this board -- can any of u put me on the $25 plan or must I go to the full service cricket store where they will charge me the $15 plan changing fee?
 
The Memo i got was that they where not going to allow no existing accounts to go to the new plan, but i have yet to try it, i will check it out soon as i get to the office. Or it can be area based cause i know in this area Cricket is going head to head with MetroPCS and i know they have had a plan like the one cricket just started out with for about 2 weeks so dont know. give you a report in a bit
 
it is not possible to switch an existing line to a promotional plan. you'd have to activate a new line then port your nuraber out and back in again to the new line.
 
Ok well first a lead representative said that in order to do this I have to go to a full service cricket store and they have to de-activate and then re-activate with a new phone nuraber and then they can put me on the $25 rate plan using my same phone. At the full service cricket center they said that only the phone representatives can do that and that all they could do was put me on the $35 plan which was the lowest one for someone not buying a new phone. But they said they could waive the $15 plan change fee. However, they ended up giving me change when I paid my bill which included a counterfit $5 bill which ended up being discovered by a Jack in the Box cashier after I went to get some dinner afterwarRAB. So cricket owes me a real $5 bill and I still want my plan to be the $25 plan so I'm paying $10 more a month then I figured.
 
um... if jack in the box even checked a $5 bill it must have been pretty obvious or the cashier was scamming you... also like i said... the $25 plan is available to new customers only. the reps are trained to not switch you to it or encourage you to do anything to switch to it. cricket is currently in the process of implementing a system that prevents old customers from deactivating and reactivating to take advantage of promotions.

also i gave you your best option including how to keep your nuraber but you chose to not go that route.
 
I went up today to get the 25.00 deal and they told me it was good if you were adding a line to an existing account, (that you have to be a Cricket customer already). I don't have Cricket at all, and I thought it was for new customers. Also they said you can't do add ons to the plan like the $5.00 web.
 
This plan is for new activations (Stand Along and Add A Lines only)

It has limited featuers that can be bolted on to it aswell.
 
i ended up getting this to work by adding a second line to my plan and they told me i will have to sign up for it to automatically come out my bank account every month.after a month i just dropped the old account i had but i had to pay a termination fee. u know its always something with cricket.
 
What I wanted was a 25.00 plan they were advertising on the radio in Dayton, Oh. I guess its a Christmas promo. It said it had unlimited talk, text, and pic, with unlimited texting to Mexico too. When I went to cricket store the guy said the 25.00 plan didn't included pics, and it was only if you had cricket and had it disconnected in last few months. Also he said I couldn't add the web to it. Not for new customers, I told him that didn't make sense, that they had it on the radio. I don't have anyway to prove it to him, so he wouldn't give it to me. Anyone know about this plan, maybe it doesn't take effect until Dec. and it is on the radio early?
 
The plan is only for new customers(or adding lines to accounts). It does include pix. there are severe restrictions on the add-on features. you can add: insurance, roaming, flex bucket recurring deposit, clicks, the $5 calling feature package only(not the $3 or $7).
you cannot add WAP, RingBacks, ECA, UDA, etc...
 
Ok thanks, I will go back tomorrow. Maybe someone else will know about it. That is what I want, and I am a new customer. The wap is not a big deal, I thought about getting it but if it can't be added no biggie. Thanks again.

do you work for cricket? When I went to the cricket store they said it didn't include pics, only unlimited calls, and texts.They also said that it isn't for new customers . Then he said that you couldn't add the web. It doesn't sound right, I'm going to take the phone back.
 
wow, either they didn't know what they were talking about or you guys don't.

$30 REQUIRES ABP: unlimited local, text, pix and VM. Can add most bolt-ons
$25 TEXT: local, text, text to mexico, NO ABP REQUIREMENT Limited bolt ons
$25 LD: local, LD, NO ABP REQUIREMENT Limited bolt-ons
 
OK, I have a Verizon razor flashed to Cricket and want the $25 dollar plan. I called to activate and they said I had to go to a store. The store said I had to buy a phone for that plan. My question is: if I buy a $50 phone online (with first month free) then activate it on the $25 plan will I be able to do an ESN switch to the razor?

I know they will charge me at least $15 for the switch but my daughter really wants the razor.
