you dont have to get a new phone to get on the $25 plan thats BS. I just activated a flashed u340 on the $25 plan for a friend and had no problems with it. They will pro-rate you and charge around $50-60 with plan, activation, and taxes.

The $25 promotion rate plan is for "New Activations" not new phones.
