2008-Best of the year

St. Elsewhere was indeed better, as an overall album, but that couldn't stop me from playing run, would be killer, going on, open book, surprise, who's gonna save my soul in heavy rotation! and I'm on my way to like charity case, neighbours and blind mary..

+I've seen them life this year, so I had to get to know the newer songs.

You might just give it another try!:hphones:

Then you're just as misguided as those idiots who overhyped it.

Vampire Weekend may be the most dull album of the year. There's no hooks, no real melodies, and they fail to bring anything to the album except mediocre indie rock. If you like indie music, try these instead:

Bon Iver - For Emma Forever Ago
Bonnie "Prince" Billy - Lie Down in the Light
Calexico - Carried to Dust
Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer

just a thought! d*mn, that's some deep song, great stuff:love:
transformer is, I don't know, just thinking of it makes me smile!
I don't really care for who cares (...)

Gnarls Barkley really got me recently. I HATED and still have strong negative feelings towars "crazy" (can't stand that boring beat.. at all). I had to really push myself to give Gnarls Barkley a try.

Danger Mouse is a great producer! I also love Demon Days, produced by him.

1. Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! - Nick Cave and the Bad SeeRAB
2. Keep it Simple - Van Morrison
3. Modern Guilt - Beck
4. Attack and Release - The Black Keys
5. Bring Me Your Love - City and Colour

I've only got a handful of albums released this year, and the only ones that really impressed me are Nick Cave's 'Dig Lazarus Dig' (easily the pick of the year for me), Mercury Rev's 'Snowflake Midnight' and the self-titled effort from the Week That Was. Good to see all these nominations though - I'll definitely have to check a few of them out in future

I have yet to hear both.

Possibly incorrect mp3 tagging or a dodgy download? For this reason, I thought A Day in the Life was a song on Revolver for the longest time. :o:
