2007 MLB Extra Innings on BEV

I did not state in an earlier post that I have a 6000 HD receiver. Forgive me for not being familiar with the other receivers(2700's and the 6000 is all I have ever operated). Therefore, my 6000 was showing the MLB Extra Innings HD channels....nothing was there as of yet....they are in test mode. The other receivers other members have listed above...if they are not HD receivers.....then that is one reason why you may not be able to see these channels. They of course, would only appear to those that have HD receivers...everybody else wouldn't see them.

When you take Center Ice you only see the out of the market games...the games of the team considered as "your local team" will only play on TSN, Sportsnet or even RDS if you are in Quebec or at the East of Quebec

MLB Extra Innings begins today!

The channels should start appearing in your guide in the next little while (official launch was @ 10am). The channels start at 485. The HD channels start at 881.

There is a free preview this weekend, ending Monday. The cost of the package is $99.99.

Enjoy everybody.

Today MLB EI is showing COL vs NYY on channel 485 but the game ia also on Sportsnet West. BEV screwed up Sportsnet West was covering todays game not last nites game.

MLB EI isn't showing the Cubs vs Rangers game today. On the info guide it says the game is on channel 295 WGN but its not.

The better the signal, the better any TV will look. Even though your TV is only an EDTV, it will look very good with the HD signal. As long as you set the 9200 to 480I, you will be able to watch it on even an older CRT set.

i wish we had Rogers back in the western Canada.:(

BEV will never add anymore sports or porn. I am happy about all the HD they have but come on lets get some XXX channels and the Super Pak that Rogers offers.

Not in HD and not on your family room/playroom TV. Nice to have the game over the internet on my laptop when I'm on the road and have no other choices; but I'd rather pay the $90 to Bell etc. and get Real TV.

Sorry to hear you experience Don...

Was the game supposed to be part of the MLB package or on Sportsnet? Or CW11 or another Superstation?

Give me the info and i'll see what I can find...

I must mention that we got info about the package when it first came out, and since then, nothing. No mention when there is a blackout, nothing.

I'll try to get the info and be back to you on that

Apparently they are not and they want you to sub to the Superstations to get them. They are the only provider of Extra Innings that do this.

I was refering to the fact that for NHL CI, they only show a Home or Away feed, not both, and the same now goes for MLB EI. Wasn't refering to USA National feed games, although looking at the provided PDF, it appears that if a game is not going to air on the Fox E/W, then it will air in the MLB EI package...

On the Bell Express Vu TV guide, NFL Sunday Ticket channel, via the Sympatico web site they add MLB games. When i called Bell concernning this, they were clueless.

SNET originally had the game scheduled for SNET West, but dropped it Mon/Tue for Bonds chase. EVU not pay enough attention to realize stuff like that.

The purpose of sports packages are to give you games that you could normally not see. You can normally see the games on the stations you list.

We can agree to dissagree then. We are just going in circles.

Again i could care less if WPIX or TBS are included in extra innings or not because i get those channels free with TMN movies package. I still don't think its fair to people who don't get these stations and must pay $16/month more instead of $5/month more because Bell dosn't advertise it.

Sorry Dean...as you can see i'm not a fan! More reason then to belive they woudn't be added for the current season.

Somebody has to watch for last minute changes to Sportnet schedule. They did pull that one a few times already.Games on schedule at Sportnet are pulled off so neither Sportnet or MLB extra innings are showing it. By the way the game was on both Rogers and Videotron

However, games on superstations on American providers CAN be blacked out in local markets. IE, games on WPIX, WGN, and TBS can be blacked out in US markets.

Not so on EVU. All games on those channels are nationally carried 100% of the time.

Also outside of Dishnetwork (who no longer carry EI), what provider carries a superstation package?

I think it is fair. Games available nationally are not included in the package. I have no problem with that.

As I promised :) , Bell has game in the FOX Window (before 7PM ET) this weekend (6/23) in EI.

MLB1 Philadelphia/Stl. Louis

Bell is using an KSDK OTA feed for it.

On the second page of Vu sports listings, it said "More sports packages". It means that MLB Extra Innings will soon be available on Bell Express Vu.
