2007 MLB Extra Innings on BEV

That notice was put there last night...nobody else has been able to confirm, you would really think it would be promoted somewhere by Bell.

I can't believe that the Boston / N.Y. game isn't scheduled for todays game. In the Extra Innings schedule posted at the start of EXpressvu's coverage the game was listed to be on Roger's Sports Network. It is now carrying the Canada / Russia hockey game. EXtra Innings should have the game on their channels.

Well, I for one am very happy although we had to sweat it out until the last minute. Why the big secret??? I see that most Red Sox games until the end of June will be in HD. I hope it continues. I have all I need now. Thanks BEV, but I don't get why people like Agent Express V wasn’t even told it might be coming.

dirtyjeffer

Watched quite a few HD Jays games last year on Sportsnet HD, looking forward to as many this year.

And, damn fine HD.

Since you exhibit yourself as a BEV insider, you should try answering the question in the topic, instead of dissing the competition.

But, as much as I would love to have MLB Extra Innings, BEV will over price it as it has with NFL Sunday extra.

How are they (TBS, WGN, WPIX) not available nationally?

What area in Canada can not get those channels?

dictionary.com:
Nationally - extending throughout an entire nation; "nationally advertised"; "it was broadcast nationwide"

You would have to think that a baseball package would be much more popular than a cricket package. I really want MLB Extra Innings, almost enough to switch to a provider that has it.

I tried to subscribe to Extra Innings today, but the CSR had no idea what I was trying to order. Even after explaning a couple of times that this was a new extra cost sports package, the CSR couldn't help me.

I'll try again next week.

Try the url with www-bell-ca as the hostname. For heaven sakes!

You are correct and proved the point I am trying to make.

The VS. games are available in Canada in NHL CI unless they are shown on a station available in Canada in which case they are not in CI.

I understand what you are saying

Okay do you consider NBC & NHL Network "national"? If yes then why does BEV still show games from NBC/NHL Network on Center Ice?

no SD vs HOU and NYY vs KC game on Extra Innings

both games on the extra inning channel say they are on Sportsnet...however sportsnet changed the games they are showing

Sportsnet is really screwing Extra innings

If BELL doesn't get this fixed soon I won't be paying $150-$180 for the full season next year

not worth it

thanks for the promising info guys and yes thank god for sportsnets coverage of american based teams, i like the jays and all but enjoy seeing all the teams play.

It has nothing to do with the "yanks". It has to do with Bell striking a deal with the league. Rogers has been able to do this for several years. Other cable companies also carry it in Canada. Bell simply isn't prepared to pay the going rate the league wants.

Plus, if they want to offer the out of market HD MLB games, they are going to be hard pressed to find the satellite bandwidth once NFL Sunday Ticket goes to air around Sep 2. As it is, they already take down HD PPV to accommodate the HD football games.

its ONLY $99.99 per year???? I know baseball isn't popular in Canada but good deal

shouldn't we pay less because we have missed ALMOST 3 months?????

I remember when Shaw used to offer NFL Sunday Ticket for $75 PER SEASON a few years ago

I still think BEV should add what Rogers has with the $26.95 sports pak per month. If they add that SO MANY Rogers subs would jump ship to BEV because BEV has better IRD'S/HD TV.

Is it true that starting monday MLB Extra Innings will not show none Blue Jays games shown on Sportsnet regional channels? How about west games(Like Seattle Mariners) who are broadcast at 10:30 pm when the Jays are playing on Sportsnet?

Forget about blackouts, where are the GAMES?

Right now (9:45 pm) there are 6 games on. The Yankees/Rockies game IS NOT, however, and none of the 4 10:00 or 10:35 starts (except Hou/LA) is listed in the guide...And tomorrow, there is ONE game of four or five available (Yanks/Rocks). WTF? What is this crap?

ANyone have an answer for this?
