2007 Kawasaki Prairie 360 Speedometer?

I have a Kawasaki Prairie and want to install a speedometer in it. I have seen numerous ones online but cant find anyone that has installed one or knows how to install one. Does anyone out there know how to or know what all is needed to install one? The kit looks like it just comes with the speedo and a 3 wire pig tail that comes off the back.
 
hmm,not sure what you've bought but on custom builds i just use a digital pushbike speedo,all of £8 and simple to fit.
