I was listening to a song one time on full blast, and one of the fron t door speakers went silent ever sense. Any ideas what happened? How can i get my door off to see? tnx
Yeah u fried the voice coil. You'll have to take out all necessary screws, possibly door handle or other trim and pry up the edges with a trim panel removal tool and apply steady careful pressure until all the retaining clips have released and can safely remove the panel to replace the speaker. I would just buy a new set of front door speakers from a decent manufacturer such as kicker, kenwood, pioneer.
