2 ohm or 4 ohm subs for my amp?

I'm kinda new at this but I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch P550.2 Amplifier and i was thinking of buying 2, 12" JL W3s. Anyone know which kind of W3s will be the best either 2 ohm or 4 ohm. And how should I wire them up to the amp for best performance?
Or instead of the W3s do you think my amp will be able to thump the Kicker L5s?
 
If they are dual voice coils, then get the 4 ohm version. If they are single voice coil, then the 2 ohm
