I have an Alpine amp that pushes 1000 RMS and i know that the DCVRs only put out 800 RMS and the L5s put out 1200 RMS. so i know with my amp i would want the DCVRs but there is a Kicker amp that pushes 1500 RMS that i can buy for relatively cheap. Im also worried about what my electrical system in my car can handle without upgrading the alternator and whatever else the big 3 upgrade would be. So i guess my question is should i spend a little more and get the L5s (sealed box) and would my stock electrical system (2008 charger) be able to handle the 1200 RMS?, or should i just keep my amp and buy the 800 RMS DCVRs (ported box) and would there be a huge difference between the two? or can my electrical even support L7s?
