as of now i own a wired down to 2 ohms 15" l7 with a ported box and a kicker zx1000.1 amp.and i am upgrading my system to either:
2 15" dual 4 ohm woofers to be a 1 ohm load.
or
2 12" dual 4 ohm speakers wired down to a 1 ohm load.
and either way im going to be getting probally a hifonics 2000 watt amp.

but i heared the mtx's can handle alot more power then there recommended of 1000 rms.

what is better / hitt harder / handle more power?!

Thank you!

The 12"s will hit harder while the 15"s will be a lot deeper. The 12" will give you better(more accurate) sound quality but not by much. You won't know how much power they can handle in whatever enclosure they are installed until you blow them up!

The last answer was plain wrong. how a sub hits is dependent on install more than anything else. That being said, if you have room for the 2 15's, they will probably be louder in the right enclosure. I would not give the either sub too much more than rated power.
