1991 Maxima Radio Fix?

I have a great car, but am having a hard time getting the radio fixed on it. So, anyone have any guidance on the best place to get the 1991 Maxima 4 door sedan radio fixed (its the original radio and speakers). I dont know if its the radio or the speakers or both. im in NY city. Thank you.
 
If you don't want to get a Haynes service manual from your local library branch and do the job yourself, your best bet is to go to a Nissan dealer. The dealer will have the necessary manuals and tools to remove the radio/speakers.
If you have any sound at all coming from the speakers then I would suspect the radio. To test, remove the radio, hook up power and speakers on your bench and test. If you hear radio programs then it's your car speakers, if not it is the radio and your car speakers are still suspect.
