Hey, bought a 78 Kz 750, It ran when i kicked it over yesterday, drove it up onto a trailor, then kicked it over, and drove it off the trailor at destination, when i tired to start it again, it has nothing, no sign its trying to fire or sput. I checked and its getting fuel, the sparkplugs are firing, and i put a new battery in it. i dont understand why it wont run! theres only 3 fuses and they're fine. any ideas?
It did run fine (in need of carb tunning though) eariler, then about 10 minutes later it wouldnet start again. it does have old gas in it. the spark plugs were soiled with un burnt gas, i sanded the leads and tried again. when i shut the run switch to "off" it wont allow the starter to crank, i assumed that the switch was fine because if it was dissconnected the starter wouldnet crank?
checked run/stop, connected the wires together same effect, dried the plugs and sanded connections again, still using old gas though. yesterday it ran on the old gas, the last time i started yesterday it choked alot and died. possibly something pluged up in the carbs? or could this be a electrical issue? tommorow i will try with new plugs and fuel
