1970 something kawasaki enduro 125 in a 1989 suzuki 230 quadrunner?

Me and my two friends were given an old kawasaki street and trail bike. its a two stroke and is a 125 cc, it wont start unless you catch it in gear. My one friend has a 230 quadrunner and its beat and sounds like its ready to blow up and we thought that maybe the bikes engine would be a big upgrade over his engine. so would it be possible to put the bikes engine into the quadrunner. i know it will take alot of work especially with mounting everything but would it be possible?

its totaly possable. just some work with a sawsall, grinder, and welder. gonna have to make engine mounting brackets and line up the chain. i'd wait til you totally blew up the 230 before i did anything!
as far as upgrade...probably not.

No man this would be a serious downgrade.It would be far cheaper to rebuild the 230 than to try what you are thinking.
