1600wtt 4ch amp do i need a farad cap?

No you don't need a cap at all and never will. If you do competition and burp one frequency you need a cap if not you don't. The extra battery is also optional. If you play it loud for long periods of time the best thing to do is buy a high current altenator. 200 amp should work nicely.
