10 Singers Who Can't Sing?

Can't sing: Fat Mike(NoFX) Tom DeLonge(blink-182/Angels & Airwaves)
both have distinctive voices for the banRAB they're in..so I don't know if that makes em good or not.

Besides I don't think it's really all that possible to define a good singer. The masses would probably say, like James said, singers like Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera. No matter what people say, Hole are an awesome band, but by those standarRAB Courtney Love isn't a 'good' singer, but she's good because her style falls in line with the kind of music she's portraying.

This thread is durab.

I only judge the music for how good the quality of the arrangement is. I don't really care for singing, but yes there are several singers out there like Miley Cyrus who is bad at singing, but its not her voice, its the type of songs she does, they don't flow well with her voice. If I were to be famous for the songs I make, then I would be under the 'Can't Sing category of this thread, but at least the music is good. I also think that Celine Dion isn't that bad, but I would like to know why in paticular she is bad.

I like these two guys, but I'm aware neither one of them can sing.

Trey Anastasio
Bob Dylan

Trey Anastasio, unfortunately, doesn't seem aware at this point in his career that he can't sing, and that's kind of strange.

Bob Dylan probably knows.

There's a significant difference between someone that can't sing and someone that doesn't try to. Tom Waits is an unusual vocalist and a brilliant storyteller. If you want to hear him sing, listen to his early work. It isn't poor by any measure.

And come one, the Red Hot Chili Peppers? If you romanticize about heroin overdoses and orgies, sure, they're "great." It seems like everyone who calls Kiedis a good frontman idolizes his self-fellating shitpile of an autobiography. Give it a rest already.

Dude Fa‎gen has a great voice. In my mind it's one of the more under-appreciated voices in music, because while he doesn't use it in a show-offy way he actually is a pretty decent singer.

He might have the coolest falsetto ever, the Flaming Lips would sound awful if Coyne only sung in a deeper voice like Beck (but he has a good voice too).

To be quite honest.... I've never ever been a Bob Dylan fan...... ever

I can't get into his lyrics, music, or voice..... so I have to say that I completely agree
