Thanks. The 10hp doesn't matter to me. & I'd be keeping either bike stock as far as full pipes & engine mods. Its just a question of initial investment & resale value down the road for me. Before I got married I did a lot of touring and always lusted after the 916. Now my wife doesn't ride so my riding is just the occasional evening & Sunday morning. I know its blasphemy, but my desire for the 1098 (in red) is 90% looks & 10% performance. I want to store it in my living room in the winter so I can stare at it.
