Man I am glad to read all this from you folks. I purchased an 07 FLHTCUI the end of May with only 13k miles. Well I am sitting in a hotel in KC, MO returning to FL, been on the road since July 1. Rode to the Black Hills, so far have clocked over 5k miles on this trip and I had the bike in the shop 2 times in Rapid City for both problems. pull the clutch in and it dies, notice popping and rough ilde if it does idle. Hard starting once in a while, mostly starts up and dies. Let it sit for awhile and it may run fine. Sometimes it will start up and rev high up to 2k or 3k on the tach and then work its way back down and will idle then. It never sticks at high idle. The harley shop charged me 158 bucks and only changed the voltage gauge as it was showing overcharging at 16v most the time. Well here I am in KC and still in the same boat. Thanks for the TT now I downloaded it and will take it back to the local dealer when I get back to FL. This is driving me nuts. I know in the am it will work fine, then all of a sudden I will stop for gas and it will act up. I thought it was bad gas. Oh, took it to the HD dealer before I left SD and they could find nothing and wanted another 30+ bucks for diagnostic fees. I got upset and told them you didn't diagnose anything and I paid you for not fixing it before. So they threw that bill away. WHEW!! Thanks I will let you know what happens. Shouldn't the Harley shop know these problems exist?
