you want a V8, preferably one about 5 liters. you see, most large engines are bad for the environment, but when they get to a certain size they tend to burn up excess carbon emissions and are actually more eco-friendly.

The Audi is probably in good shape, but if you plan on having it for a long time, don't get it. The Corollas are pretty ugly, but there's other cars like it that you an buy.
what engine does it have? b18? v6? appearance wise, you should just put on wheels and lowering springs. anything else looks tacky and stupid. as far as performance goes, just get a cold-air intake and a stage 1 performance chip(if you're serious).
if it has a the northstar v8, there has to be somewhere. even though it's not as popular of a hot-rodding engine as the LS1, it's still a potent powerplant. try jeg's, jc whitney, summit racing, etc.
