Looking for a slideout qwerty keyboard + touchscreen

Haha thanks, but I live no where near Vancouver :P. The phone does look nice, but what I've heard is that: 1) The touchscreen is not very responsive 2) It "breaks" often (from the rogers sales person, told me that he often sees it turned in for repairs, more so than other phones)

    iPhone 4 to N97 on AT&T

I have used a 5800 (which is practically the same as the N97 software wise) as well as an N95 with my iPhone data plan and they both worked fine.

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia 6650 (RM-324 6650d-1bH) NAM 3G 850/1900

Got mine! Thanks for the headsup. Now I can afford to wait for a satble N85-NAM or a cheaper N96 NAM! S/W version V 03.25 dated 1/10/08 & Type Designator RM-324 Custom version 3.25.01, but this seems to not have been messed up by AT&T that I can observe so far. I activated the AT&T Nav 30-day...

It get's the exposure any other widget gets. I don't want email on my front screen, the indicator icon is more than enough for me. I'm not sure how the ui is going to work actually. On my N85 I don't use the standby screen for much. Why? It's bloody slow to do something. Say the standby...

I don't think anyone's trying to shove their opinion down anyone else's throat. Everyone who has tried it and didn't like it has specifically said that you need to try it for yourself. And yes, they would put a production version on display for people to demo. At the Chicago store, the...

How much worse than using the "0" button in T9 do you think it is? It's better than reaching my thumb all the over to the middle of the keyboard. I think if you actually thought about it or used it, it would make sense. Think about where your hands are when holding the phone and the arc of...

Yeah, I have a N85 (well, theoretically because it's in for repairs, but I own one!). I must say that the design of this phone (the n86) ? particularly the keys ? is absolutely hideous. It looks really cheap. That's just my 2 cents. I'll keep my N85, so long as it works once I get it back.

    New phone, help me choose

I used to have one and it's by far the only phone I have used and kept for more than a year because it was hard to find anything better to replace it with. Considering all that Mr.Conviviality said, it seems like w995 will really make a a great choice for you but of course keep your options open...

Switching platforms - question about Android-base hardware

Looking at this list: http://www.telusmobility.com/en/BC/smartphones/index.shtml I would recommend the Nexus S here. Latest Android build and you get it straight from Google. Android 2.3.4 is the smoothest and most stable Android OS I've seen yet. No UI nonsense so its all simple fast and...

4K!DS TV Talkback: Biker Mice From Mars [August 2008] (Spoilers)

I don't believe they can. Biker Mice From Mars aired as part of the Marvel Action Universe syndication block that was produced by Saban. I don't know if they paid Saban to put it on the block or if Saban helped produce it. If Saban helped produce it, then Disney has the rights to it.

What do you look for in your animation?

:^: Dark action-y stuff is OK and all, but I feel bad for people who are unable (or unwilling) to sit back and enjoy a good ol' fashioned cartoony cartoon. Don't get me wrong: the more realistic stuff is OK when it works, but I don't necessarily look for realism in my animation; for me, the...

    James Bond, Jr.

I know what you mean, Rick. WWOR had some pretty good cartoons back then. (Beverly Hills Teens, Mighty Max, Video Power, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teknoman/Tekkaman, etc.) But it could not compare to what WPIX had throughout the 80's and 90's though. That was before the dreaded UPN and WB...

    Scheduling, what a mess!

I absolutely agree there. Shows that are high quality shows really need to be allocated to weekly premiers. The only tennent I'd argue a little is I don't mind encores as long as they are done tactfully and intelligently. Going back to an old argument I made with CN back in the Toonami days, I...
