i failed the mr and mrs bellic mission twice.

no, well maybe for the deal version. In the revenge sequence, its all cutscenes, except for the drive there. So basically, all you had to do for the mission was drive from a house to the church, and it was completed. and i still failed twice.

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I checked (and changed) all those settings. However, on my laptop and other devices, I have had to just put in my school issued username and password when I was prompted for it whenever I connected to the network. I don't get such a prompt with this device though :( And is there a thread for...

Can any cellphones download programs and then send exe to a computer?

Basically any smartphone with a browser that can download any file can. Usually means most. Except Apple. Symbian, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, any of these four can. No not Windows Phone 7. You then have the phone connected to the computer via USB, where the phone will appears as...

    The first outsourced "Peanuts" special?

I think that the first outsourced Peanuts cartoons were episodes of "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show" that were produced in Spain and London. The first special that I've noticed wasn't all done in-house was "It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown".

The Simpsons - "Judge Me Tender" - Talkback [5/23]

I didn't watch last night's episode but from everything I read about it there's a world of difference between "The Springfield Files" and what aired last night.

The virtues and flaws of animated films you like or dislike.

Rocket Power is okay, so I don't like or dislike it persay. But it does have some up and downs Dislikes (I'm going to get out of the way)- Otto could be pretty obnoxius at times, and downright unlikable. Plus the attempts at coolness were unsuccessful. Likes- The nerd character (Sammy)...

    "Screw you!" attitudes in animation

Actually, a more correct term for this would be "a bait-&-switch." I was expecting that ending, or something like it, from that Family Guy episode. Once Stewie kills Lois, they've completely jumped the shark, and have nowhere to go. South Park did a masterful job of satirizing Family Guy a few...

Villains that still give you the creeps, even now

Judge Doom from Roger Rabbit- It was the scene where he picks up this happy, living cartoon shoe that has done absolutely nothing wrong and drops it in turpentine in which it painfully melts to death. Traumatized me when I was a little kid, still has that effect on me now. On that note, any...

"I'm OK!" yelled after slapstick violence

Lol. The "I'm OK" is so grand and funny that it's an absolute staple in cartoons (especially in slapstick). Everyone has mentioned the shows I was going to mention so... yeah. Not really. The reason it's so funny is because we know that suffering from something so bad is not OK.

    Efeminine Males in Western Fiction

We mentioned Edd because he looks kinda like a girl, and many actually mistaken him as such until later. I forgot about Jimmy, who is the deal effeminate here.

Soft Reset Auto "Go To" Apps Question

Thanks GP! What puzzles me is I have it noted in my "archived apps database" to "be careful - occasional bad results." I can't remember for the life of me what they were - but I've got a somewhat more "complicated" reset procedure than most and this helps to solve it. Hopefully it will help...

TX turns off, won't turn on without reset

I have a puzzling problem with my T|X. It seems that when it shuts itself off, or if I turn it off, I cannot turn it back on-- only the reset button works. It's not a faultly power button because it works to shut it down. I even remapped one of the front buttons for power and no luck. The...

"Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" Talkback (Spoilers)

Well, I thought the first one was DreamWorks' best CG animated film yet (I have not seen Kung Fu Panda yet, so that may change); true, it had some pop culture references, but most of the humor was sheer goofiness, which I have a lot of affection for. As the trailers predicted, the supporting...

Does another company need to step up to the plate?

There already is a FUNimation Channel. How much good stuff did DIC and Nelvana do anyway? Don't know what Cookie Jar and Entertainment Right are. Teletoon in Canada airs a significant number of cartoons airing on other networks in the US.
