"Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" Talkback (Spoilers)

Wouldn't it be more like Puerto Rico: Escape 2 America or something?

I never saw the first one, so...why are they going back to New York after they escaped? Or am I thinking of that other movie that Disney made?
 
Yeah, this movie's title is like that. :sweat: And plot of the first movie started out with the zebra wanting to escape and the others trying to stop him. :shrug:
 
it's also funny that there's Georgia the country and Georgia the U.S State :eek:

though from I what I've heard about the movie it might reek of Shrek 2 and Father of the Pride..:shrug:

hmm.. how bout United states: escape to Hawaii.. :p
 
Well, if we're gonna complain about the subtitle, then maybe someone should point out that the new Ice Age movie is guilty of a similar crime. It's Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the third movie in the series, and supposedly starts where the second (Ice Age: The Meltdown) ended. Thing is, dinosaurs were extinct before the previous ice age began. So, they're kinda going backwards in time, or something. :confused:

Anyway, I liked the first Madagascar, and I'll see its sequel.
 
Well, I thought the first one was DreamWorks' best CG animated film yet (I have not seen Kung Fu Panda yet, so that may change); true, it had some pop culture references, but most of the humor was sheer goofiness, which I have a lot of affection for. As the trailers predicted, the supporting cast (the penguins, King Julian) ended up stealing the show, and that looks to be the case here as well. To me, it definitely looks like fun.
 
Actually, it kinda makes sense once you watch the second movie. Check the background. There's a dinosaur in the ice, and I think he's reanimated in this movie.
