Well, I would imagine it's because (and DeafAngelboy23, please correct me if I'm wrong), where ASL is its own language, PSE and SEE are both just signed English. So, it's like going to Spain and speaking Spanish but changing the grammar and syntax to match that of English. It may make it easier...

I don't consider a film that gets shown in 6 more theaters to be doing well. It looked like it could be good based on the trailer, but I don't know since I certainly don't live anywhere near any of the theaters it's being shown.
