I guess its doing well.

EDIT: I wasn't sure whether to put this in the anime forum or the entertainment forum.

I thought that the film was borabing in the box office. I know a lot of the critics really gave this film a bashing it will never forget.

yeah but the film itself wasn't all that bad it was a different take on saya and I would love for a gap to be bridged between saya now and saya at the end of blood+ (now that I have rewatched the entire series and movies again).

reading that review kind of discouraged me considering that there was a bit more acting than in twilight *stoic characters there* but there wasn't enough backstory and unfortunately when the backstory finally gets into it and we sorta have an understanding as a meraber of the audience, the movie is over.

All in all I gave the movie a 7 I believe and I thought that's what it deserved and that is from not watching the series till later. I suppose my question is

where's hagi?

I don't consider a film that gets shown in 6 more theaters to be doing well. It looked like it could be good based on the trailer, but I don't know since I certainly don't live anywhere near any of the theaters it's being shown.

well still judge it for yourself
from what I have seen this film also takes place somehow in the 1960s much like the anime adaptation. One thing that puzzled me was

nurse was replaced with alice character. It definitely wasn't blood plus saya either but all things considered she did lose her memory prior to blood plus beginning.

I personally think there should be a second movie because it wasn't that bad. In fact it was faithful for the most part to the anime adaptation of blood the last vampire
