I gather this is an aftermarket radio, there is a wire with a small box wired to hot, get rid of it, it;s to remind you to take your faceplate off when key is not turned to ignition. It's a dumb thing, I like listening to the radio like that too.

bet it was limited parking there, and tow trucks are hired to tow those that are parked too long, they do that to 20 or 30 cars then start at the beginning and the 20 min are up, all those that haven't moved are fair game.

looking at the belt from the front, there is a tensioner pulley right by the alternator. Look closely and you will see a square hole. Place a 3/8 " socket wrench with no socket into the square hole and pull, this will loosen the entire belt
