The usual fix is to ground all equipment to the same location. If that's the case now, you have a ground potential on one or more pieces of equipment that have a differential resistance to true ground.
Best to do is contact RF.
Oh and ignore peak watts.
For speakers:
Peak or Max watts represents the absolute maximum wattage a speaker can handle for a split second. Since music doesn't play at this wattage at long intervals, it's not a good representation of true power.
For amplifiers:

Someone was feeding you a line. For one, you don't have a "high voltage" accessory installed. ALL accessories run off of 12 volts.
It was just a glich with the micro processor in the car.

No. You'll most likely will need to install a relay. The REM circuitry inside the HU can only provide so much current. The antenna AND amp may exceed this.
