Putting it in a sealed box would help great. It seals off the pressure pushing back against the sub. A ported box let's the pressure leave giving the sub less bounce. But ported box produces that lower loud bass.

The solobarics will pound harder if put in the correctly built box. They have bigger cone area than the CVR's but also require a bigger box than the CVR's. They also have a higher RMS. I'd choose L7 over CVR anyday.

I'm guessing you have 2 amps, one for the speakers and one for the 10". In any, the deck your looking for has 3 sets of RCA's for 2 amps, so it would work. The RCA's are the same, the front RCA goes to the front speakers as rear to rear speaker, sub to sub.
