    this is england '86 (Merged)

I watched this series but found it to busy. So much going on, you wanted to see what happened and answers to things. The end left me thinking, what happened to all these people, apart from the obvious. Should have spread it over 6 weeks and not crammed it into 4.

Movie Cliches...don't you just love 'em?

Watch Funny Games. Not a cliche insight, and good doesn't kick baRAB arse. However, the masses love the cliche, it makes them feel warm and fuzzy.

    Ring: twO

Shush! I'm on an LCD screen at the moment.....you think it works with these too? To keep on the topic I'd just like to say this looks good. I watched the first one in Feb 2002 on a plane. I'm scared of flying so hearing the entire cabin scream all at once is not a nice thing. Good atmosphere...

Someone in my family watched Stomp the Yard well near 100 times, had it running all the time lol:confused: I'm more into horrors (halloween series, darkness falls, scream) and sci-fi films like star wars etc..:D

    The Terminal

Aren't half of all Hollywood films 'based on true stories'? I bet the only similarities are: that they are both about a man, in an airport!

    Kill Bill

It would have been in black and white - it was done so that it would get past the censors, given that there was so much blood.

Actors that you just 'don't get'....

:D I'm gutted I didn't see that now! :p I can't recall seeing him in anything other than Scum so can't comment on his other stuff. I'm adding Catherine Zeta Jones to this list. She seems to be under the impression that eveyone thinks she's still the darling from 'Darling BuRAB of May' so will...

    Superman Returns - Official Trailer

I was mostly concerned with how the trailer was put together, and that Spacey didn't seem quite a Luthor'esque as I had hoped he would. If Singer's previous X-Men movies are anything to go by, I think the movie will be less of a "crowd pleaser" compared to Spider-Man, which means more character...

    Meet the Spartans

Just came from the cinema to see the film and it was so unfunny. I feel conned, not to mention the un-subtle constant ad placements  :( I so should of have it coming :o

    Team America

What do you mean it wouldn't *have* been released if they'd criticised Bush? Last I heard America still practised free speech (at least in theory). Michael Moore rocks.

Avatar-What Makes It Worth 2 Billion?

I haven't seen Avatar, so I can't really comment on the film itself, but what interests me is will its reception and reviews change once it is released onto DVD/BluRay if the main thing people are raving about are the 3D effects? I bought Coraline when it came out on DVD and you got free pairs...

    Cineworld Unlimited prices

Gloucester and Glasgow seemed to be similar. Big barns of places - with an enormous central foyer. Is Gloucester the one where the screens are too low for the flat ranks of seating? I could just imagine them redeveloping it with twice as many screens - and yes, it would seem to be overdue.
