I thought I read somewhere that neither Wes Craven or Neve Campbell wanted to do another one as Wes didn't want to ruin the trilogy and Neve Campbell didn't want to be typecast as some horror victim. I personally don't think it will happen, but with money to be made, who knows what Hollywood...
