National Treasure/ Tomb Raider

Is it just me or are the posters for the above films quite similar?

These are the best examples I could find.

National Treasure

Both actors are posed with their torso's turned toward the camera, with their arms slightly out to the sides and head turned to one side looking at something. The layout of the titles seems similar also; the raised 3D effect, with the first word stacked on top of the second in a smaller size.
Is this an attempt to suggest it's the same style of film as Tomb Raider do you think?
 
This had crossed my mind too. Oh well, both films have similar quality scriptwriting, but there's a couple of things about Angelina Jolie that always gets my vote! :D
 
When I first saw the trailer for National Treasure I really thought it looked good but the majority of reviews I have read for it have been bad. I just hope it nowhere near as bad as the Tomb Raider films!
 
National Treusure is just your usual Hollywood crap with us "evil" British the villains of the peice. Avoid.
I doubt they'd go to see anything were we portrayed them similarly.
 
I thought National Treasure was really good.

The reason the villains were all English is because the whole plot is based around the fact that the legend is the Freemasons, George Washington etc were trying to keep the treasure away from the English.

If you like Indiana Jones I think you'll think its good.
 
I saw this today - i thought it was pretty good, though yet another British actor is the bad guy :(

At least the film has a British actor in it

sometimes i wonder how the world would have been if the american's just let us take over them (back in the 1700's). maybe we could have built a better, stronger empire.
 
The National Treasure is a good film and a real family film. If you go in to the movie with your family, you will be surprised and definatly enjoy the movie. The plot is much stronger than Tomb Raider, and the actors hold there own during the movie. It is way better than Tomb Raider and it has the father of Angelina Jolie (Jon Voight) playing the main heros dad.


The script is very good also.
