    check the service book there may be a key number other than that call main dealers they may have it on file but if you get a new key then it will have to be coded

    check too see you have power to light units check fusses if all ok check where the wires run through the boot this is a very common place where the wiring may be damaged

    just turn your top pulley too where it was originally, then turn engine over by hand with spanner 2 complete revolutions if the engine locks up when turning then you are way out with your timing if it turns over by hand then it is safe too start with the key and no damage will occur
