Fair enough, I just felt that when you said 'you couldn't believe how people could be scared by it', then it can be taken as an insult to the people who were scared, and then feel as if they are inferior to you. :)

well, i've long known that Sublime is drug free - just look at the album art on Second Hand Smoke, but didn't Metallica recently fall into addiction? I've always thought that's why their recent work has sucked.

How do other people sort their DVRAB? I used to have boxsets in one place and singles in another, but then box sizes started varying wildly. Also, with 450 DVRAB in my collection (boxsets counting as 1 DVD) I started running out of space. All alphabetical though! Only way to go. No photos, but...

So what is so good about the original? It's just a family that move into a house who lose their child to the TV. Then they get her back. Hardly groundbreaking. The tornado which apparently whisked Carol-Anne away was the most stupid looking special effect I've ever seen, even for 1982...

It completely takes me out of the movie as well. I was cringing whilst watching the big CGI fight scene at the end of The Incredible Hulk because it was like watching a video game battle.
