I have to agree with this. The opening scene really sticks in my mind. I'm not sure whether this is to do with how well it was shot or whether its because i had no prior info on the film before i saw it so it came as a big surprise. While i really enjoyed both films i'm struggling to remember...

Have to put my twopennyworth in. Jp one of the few films CGI was used to make a film better not smother the film making. And using models worked much better in close ups. A great film, watched it recently and can't believe the mess CGI has made of some other films since then IMO.

In contrast to the 'worst remake' topic? I think they should remake 'The Wizard of Oz' - that film is gagging for a big budget modern day special effects take, obviously the originals a Movie classic but with the right casting a remake could be sensational.
