i watched it today and i noticed two things about zac.

he felt alot more comfortable in the third film and his chemistry with vanessa was more believable too, those little looks they gave each other etc etc.

i personally preferred the third film to the other two.

it was less cheesier and the music was less cheesier as well even though overall the music in hsm2 was better.

but you gotta give it to them for the production work etc it was fantastic.

Warning: spoilers. Do not read unless you seriously want to know.

This is all according to the novelisation, haven't seen the movie, but obviously it is a novelisation so it is what happens. This is just the ending, not the whole thing.

Ms Darbus makes the announcements of where each of the seniors is going.
Martha goes to the University of Southern California, for Dance.
Zeke goes to Cornell University to be a chef.
Kelsi gets the Julliard scholarship that she, Troy, Sharpay and Ryan have been competing for during the course of the movie, for Music.
Jason is just happy to have graduated.
Taylor goes to Yale, Magna Cum Laude, to do Political Science.
In a twist, another student gets a Julliard Scholarship - Ryan, for choreography.
Ms Darbus then reveals that she is taking a sabbatical for a year, and her choice as replace for the head of East High's Drama Department while she is gone is Sharpay.
Troy decides to go to the University of California in Berkeley, to do basketball and theatre, but most importantly to be near Gabi while he does both those things.
Gabi is going to Stanford to do Law.
Chad is announced as going to the University of Albuquerque, with a basketball scholarship.

Only, Chad isn't there because Chad has run off, and gone to the gym. Troy follows him, and this is where the "what makes you think we're getting diplomas" scene from the trailer comes from. The boys realise that they will play against each other later in the year, so this isn't the last time they'll be together on the basketball court. Troy's dad, Coach Bolton, tells the boys to get back on stage, and Troy jokes that he never thought he'd hear his dad say that.

All the wildcats get their diplomas ("We're All In This Together, Graduation Mix"), and Troy makes a speech about how one one person - if it's the right one, cue sappy look at Gabi - can change everything, and that East High is a place where people can be whatever they want.

Everyone throws their caps in the air and runs across the football field, they all start singing ("High School Musical").

It enRAB and everyone is as happy as really happy clams!

Coda: Jimmy and Donnie, the two new basketball players, go to the gym to shoot hoops. In their lockers, they find two basketballs with combinations written on them - the combinations to Troy and Chad's old lockers, which they asked for earlier on in the movie as the idolised Troy and Chad.

Inside the lockers (now their lockers) are Troy and Chad's sweaty, stinky, lucky socks - wouldn't make my day to find them, but Jimmy and Donnie are thrilled. They shout 'what team?' 'wildcats!' and 'getcha head in the game' and are excited for the new school year to begin.

Oooh, I also saw that they're having a "listen party" for the new soundtrack! The whole soundtrack is going to be at disney.co.uk THREE whole days before the cd is released....can't wait!

This contains another spoiler about the film so don't read if you don't want to know

Its quite a way into the film once Gabriella has left, for early admission to uni, and Sharpay has to take her place in the show. During rehersals Ryan shows Troy how the dance is done then says its easy and Troy then says ' your easier to dance with than her '.

I went to see the film again yesturday :o

I went to the late night screening last night (was forced to be completely honest). It was so bad, I actually enjoyed it and the whole screening was a hoot.

It was an improvement on the terrible second movie but still doesn't compare to the first which I thought was actually good.

+ Sharpay - By far the best character. Ashley Tisdale plays her so well and she's the only really likeable character in the film. The rest of them are just cheesy annoying *****. Her and Ryan's song was the best and was very amusing. Ryan was once again, very underused.

+ Troy and Chad - Their relationship was the most homosexual thing I think I've ever seen on a cinema screen. It was ridiculous - yet very very funny. After the ' The Boys Are Back' song, somebody at the back of the screening shouted out 'The Boys Are Gay' and the whole audience burst out laughing. After that every scene with these two just couldn't be taken seriously - just watch out for it next time you watch.

- Troy Obsession - I don't get it. Why is everybody obsessed with Troy? It's creepy. Nobody wants to do the musical, Troy puts his hand up and then everybody else is in. Troy gets to announce on stage infront of everybody what his decision on Uni is (what?). Troy gets to make a speech at graduation (what? :confused). It was just ridiculous. Oh and when Troy and Chad stole those boys clothes and made them run through the school with just a towel. Why is that funny? It's bullying...

- Gabby and Troy - The most irritating characters I think I have ever seen. I usually like Troy but in this movie he was awful. Did they have to sing the same crappy songs everytime they were together? Zac Efron put in the most cringeworthy performance in this film and his attempts at serious acting are hilarious (especially when he pulls that constipated, sucking on a lemon face). It's a shame because I thought he was great in Hairspray - but he was just awful in this. Are him and the real life Gabby actress going out in real life? Because I've no doubt that he is actually gay and Disney are just trying to cover it.

- Storyline - Was there one? They seemed to be making it up as they went along and just adding in badly mimed songs.

It was an improvement on the second but not a patch on the first. It was the best made one though and the editing was alot better. Please - END IT THERE!!!

OMG have just seen it. It was amazing. The whole cinema started screaming at the start and at the end. It was so emotional at the end. You could even see the tears in the actors eyes at the very end.

I loved every second

TBH i didnt really pay her much attention, the main cast was who i was interested in she was just a random character to me.

Im going to see the film again next week :o

Stuck in my head i spent the next 2 hours, after the film, singing it, well ''high school musical'' (the way they sung it) because it was the only line i knew lol. My friend got very annoyed lol
