I think it was obvious that his family were dead. The flashbacks showed us that they pretty much died when the other helicopter crashed into their's, which was made more sad by the fact that they were just leaving and could've been safe. The bit when he asked the mannequin to say hello to him...

To be honest, I don't really have an opinion on her anyway, so when I found out she was in the movie, I was non-plussed, but I thought she did a great job.

That's exactly it for me too, I hadn't read the books so I didn't know what to expect! Although I am curious if it's similar to what did happen in the novels, because I know the movies changed a few things around.

Oh, really? I don't know whether it would or not, but if it does, I guess it makes sense they wouldn't bother releasing it elsewhere. Sucks :pout: I'm glad the soundtrack was put back into Oscar consideration, after they nixed it the first time, because the music was EPIC.

It was so awesome finally seeing him on the big screen, and headlining a movie of his own, I totally squeed when I saw his name pop up at the beginning, and it was billed first! :woot: :love: Little things like that make me happy :D

Awesome new stills! I love the first one :thud: FNL has been on my list of tv to watch for ages, but I never got round to it. I might have to bump it up though, just to get an impression of Taylor.

I'm kind of hoping that's just a bad case of lighting/photoshopping, otherwise it'll bug me if I'm watching the film and it's actually like that :lol:

I really hope it gets re-released here too, I'd love to see TDK on the big-screen again! Especially since I'm too broke to buy the DVD right now :(
