Please could anybody recommended any straight-to-dvd horror movies that l can either buy or rent. I'm asking because l'm running out of horror films to watch as l try to see at least one a week! Cheers in advance.

I think a lot of filmmakers are still getting to grips with filming in HD, I have noticed that if the special effects (mainly CGI) are not top notch then they do tend to look a bit naff. I'm sure they will get better at it as HD gets more established.

Oh, this thread brings back memories :) My two favourite shows when I was growing up. Of the two I prefered Byker Grove but I think that's because Grange Hill went on after I'd stopped watching it so I lost the storylines.

you must be one of the few people who think that general consensus us TS2 is better than TS and as for their stories being 'excrutiatinly bad'..? cars wasn't very good (buddy movie zzzzzzzzzz) but ratatouille was great, wall-e was better and up is better still

Economics, the problem is you have to fill a theatre. While a few might go an old blockbuster or classic to reexperience something great, the draw for the masses just isn't there. I've noticed this in the past with other rereleases..even alien didn't have anything close to a packed theatre...
