I think they're great. Ritual de lo Habitual is one of my favorite 90s albums for sure. I also think Navarro is a bit underrated as a guitarist.

But lyrics are different from poetry. Lyrics have to fit in with the song and if you write something amazing that doesn't fit some sort of rhythm and doesn't coincide with the melody, etc. al., then it doesn't matter.
