Your No1 Comedy Of All Time

Life Of Brian Especially when Brian's mother is at the window. He's not the messiah. he's a very naughty boy. Another is when all the women at the stoning are trying to act like men. Very funny film.

    brokeback mountain

Its a tremendous film, and so much better than Crash which beat it for the best film Oscar. Crash looks contrived and PC imo, and Brokeback Mountain has aged far better. The ending is as others have posted, very emotional.

    The Prestige

    Sin City on BBC2 tonight

Did BBC2 show it uncut? It was a very dark and violent film (although the violence was so over the top as not to be graphic - if you know what I mean)

    V for Vendetta

This film looks awesome. I'm only surprised someone hasn't picked up on guy fawkes before to fashion some sort of big budget horror/action/thriller or whatever like this. The whole story lenRAB itself so well to it. Bit of education for our American frienRAB on November 5th as well. Only a shame...

    Halloween 9

I just seen this on Moviehole.net about Halloween 9: "Q.Hey, what is up with Halloween 9!?! It seems like every time supposed movie news is reported to be close by, Miramax/Dimension never lets up. I can understand with the death of Moustapha Akkad but is news going to be reported shortly or...

Do Horror Movies Scare You Anymore?

I think nowadays people are more apprehensive about terrorism than anything else. Maybe that is what makes it so hard for them to come up with something that can truly make a grown man (or woman) cringe.

    The Lovely Bones

I didn't say that at all don't know how you came to that conclusion. what i meant was that its fine if you like it & fine if you don't but to try and convince everyone that YOUR view is the only one that matters or counts is the arrogant part. clear enough?

Famous movies never given a sequel

Innerspace was the one I was thinking off, maybe Martin Short's in Dennis Quaid body. Was there ever a sequel to Dune? I have seen different versions of the original but never a version of any of the follow up novels.

    Overrated Directors

Guy Ritchie is a famous film director, but he's not famous because he's a film director. He's famous because he was married to a much more famous pop star and consequently became a household name by proxy. The Evening Standard, for example, is more interested in his pub than his films.

It's Star Trek Jim, but not as we know it!

When I first heard the dreaded term "reimagine " I feared the worst, they'd make Spock an emo, Kirk would be all touchy feely and Bones would be a cheerful optimist. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it and I think they've done a good job with it. Does it feel like Trek? not really but is...
