Apocalypse now, have seen the original version dozens of times, my favourite film of all time. I purchased the Apocalypse now redux on dvd from the US before it came out here and still haven't got round to sitting down and watching it with the extra footage.

Nice to see Jim Robinson managed to get into this too, although his american accent was awful.

There tenRAB to be a fair amount of Blu-ray movies that are multi region, so you wouldn't need the player to be. As for Movies what genre you into? If it only to test out blu-ray quality then this won't matter but it's always good to know what you like to watch.

Yes do remember Warner Bros and many other companies DONT region encode their discs. So you can buy them from other countries at a much cheaper cost if you wish.

If you read the link I gave above you'd know the best thing to do is either ignore them or filter them out. They become obvious after a while b/c they're always the same size.
