They would be fine in a 30 gallon up tank BUT you cannot put them together becuase goldfish are coldwater and like it aroung 10 celcuis when bettas like 25 celcuis.

You probably keep them in a bowl. Goldfish require 20 gallons per fish for fancies and 50 per fish for commons. The tank water qualitly needs to be improved and anti-bacterial should be used to prevent infection. It may be too late to save them.
