Actually a 250 or 400 would be the best choice. I'm not really familiar with the 500, but the XR400 is an awesome bike for your size. The XR250 would probably be plenty of power also but not the 200.

That would be a WR250F and I am not aware of any known issues other than it being a little hard to start like all high performance 4 strokes. If it takes more than 6-7 kicks to start you need to have the valve clearance checked.

Leaking from where? That makes a very big difference. If it is leaking from the silencer if is just because you aren't riding it hard enough and/or do not have it jetted properly. If it is leaking from the engine then you have a bad seal.
