    Kidulthood (merged)

No, and don't intend to. The whole feel i get from it makes it look better suited to a straight to tv movie. I'm fed up with all the recent influx of london ghetto movies, Bullet Boy was another film i didnt even think warranted a cinema release. Plus, why watch this when there's Syriana...

    Which Scrooge is better

Alastair Sim, without a doubt. The bit when he wakes to the realisation that it's still Christmas morning, and he has a second chance at life, is just wonderful. The musical version with Albert Finney just didn't do it for me, I'm afraid.

    George Lucas.......A great director? COUGH

What do you mean by "not a great director"? I wish somebody could explain what they are talking about when they say this. The job of the director is to decide what we see on screen - he chooses the composition and duration of the shots, has a say in the lighting and also tells the actors how...

    ricky gervais just not funny

But the point is he devised and wrote (or co-wrote) that whole concept...which is rather innovative. And again his character in Extras is supposed to make you squirm rather than laugh. For those saying he's not funny, perhaps they might at least accept that he's innovative. You either 'get it'...

    "Classic" films you've never seen

Some Like It Hot - brilliant comedy film - just love the ending with Jack Lemmon and Joe E. Brown in the boat. Billy Wilder certainly knew how to direct Marilyn. Citizen Kane - another brilliant film - directed and produced by Orson Welles who also took the lead role. Think it was his...

    Identify a film

Ok I dont have much to go on here because I only ever saw this film once when I was around 10 years old I believe the basic plot centred around a half human half ape baby being born and growing up. I think it was possibly made in the 80's or maybe early 90's. I remember watching it on TV...

    Halloween 2 Poster released

It's a sequel to the remake, not a remake of the original Halloween sequel. His Mum has a big part in the sequel from the look of the trailer and clips, unfortunately.

    Favourite scenes from films

Another scene in The Usual Suspects - a great cinematic trick - when the guys are in the prison cell talking. The camera pans around from one to the other and Verbal Kimt is definitely NOT in the cell, until he speaks and there he is, sitting on the bench, whereupon he's introduced as "Verbal"...
