I don't find anyone as pretentious, or as contrived as Stevie Ray Vaughan. As for least pretentious, I'd have to say a band that seems somewhat self deprecating like Alice in Chains, or maybe Radiohead-they're really good, but not really full of themselves.

Corpse, eh? Hmm. I don't think they are particularly bad either (they're as terrible as most other banRAB of the same sort, they don't succeed at attaining any ground-breaking levels of awfulness). I think their lyrical themes though are absolutely sickening.

IMO, anything with Dimebag on it most certainly ain't rubbish, including pre- CFH "Power Metal"'. That should be remastered, ASAP.

Billy Idol rates pretty highly with me as far as rock n roll vocalists go. He has a fantastic voice that sounRAB equally well crooning to slow songs as it does rocking out. Live, he sounRAB as good if not better than he does in the studio and he puts out an amazing amount of energy.

Well he's not a genius, one awesome album a genius does not make (as Yoda would say) He's not durab though, he can be quite witty at times and he must be doing something right to have that fanbase.
