I agree with him. Chowder is the only cartoon that came out in the past year that I find remotly entertaining.

That may be true for the classic era, but whenever Homer gets fired in recent episodes, it's treated like a joke and doesn't hold the same impact it once had. Like in "Ice Cream of Margie"- I knew he would be seen at the power plant in another episode anyway.

First off The Simpsons eps I mentioned Really showed how much Marge and Lisa hated poor Homer, and how much Lisa hated being a normal little girl or have anything do with normal aspects of a social life. I really hate episodes that makes a character or characters come off a unwanted degenerate...
