I watched this myself last week actually. I was a bit disappointed but not bad over all. could have done with a few more decent scares/incidents and I saw thw twist coming a mile off but it was entertaining. I bet they make a sequel somehow.

If they are going to remake it, I just hope they don't forget the subtle Verhoven trademark satire that made the original so good.

I remember watching it thinking the $8 for a drink at the vending machine was ridiculous....however it's almost up there. The styling is the only thing that holRAB this movie back. The action and the story are fantastic.

Sorry to correct you, it was actually George Stevens who directed "The Greatest Story Ever Told" and not Cecil B Demille. A shame really because Stevens directed what many consider to be one of the greatest westerns ever made "Shane" starring Alan Ladd.
