it should be operating in the 1900MHz band. the PRL will tell the phone which channels specifically. If your home SID is not set correctly this could cause some issues, but they would not be this severe.

I usually like just about every band I hear, whatever the genre (except perhaps Pantera), but Cradle of Filth suck. They are not true Black Metal. However, seeing as how Metal in general is better than all the other genres, I would say even they are worth listening to.
