    Watching This is England.....

I am only 40 minutes in but have just seen the scene in which the 11/12 year old boy kisses (looks proper) the 16/18 year old girl. I have to question the artistic vision of this. It looks like a good, well acted film, but that bit stirred me. Thats was probably that boys first kiss

Actors who's films you automatically avoid

Michael Douglas (Although I do like Falling Down, despite it's weaker second half) Demi Moore (Can't stand the woman, Ghost is only really watchable film) Sharon Stone (Total Recall is ace, and a couple of others are watchable, but I can't believe they are making a sequel to Basic Instinct. Are...

Troubling Symptoms. Last Request for help.

WOW. Are you my twin? I have lived with those same symptoms for years. I was diagnozed with Fibromyalsia. I have also very low blood pressure and gastric problems. I am currently seeing a few doctors to finally get to the bottom of these issues. Wish you well and....feel your pain!

If you're using an NZB, theres no reason since all the messages will have the same message-IDs regardless of which groups they were crossposted in.

    Superman Chosen?

I have just read on Aintitcool.com a rumour that Shawn Ashmore (Bobby Drake/Iceman in X Men 1/2) is going to be Jimmy Oslen. It seems like the loss of Singer may not be the only thing that X Men lose to Superman!

Films you've PAID to see more than once

I definitely remember: Fellowship of the Ring - 5 times Two Towers - twice Return of the King - 3 times Saw Order of the Phoenix twice. Probably a lot of others under the 'twice'... if you don't see it again in the cinema it's ages before you can get the DVD.

    Let the right one in

It is a rubbish situation, isn't it? I imagine somebody at the distributors has decided "Oh, it's a Swedish subtitled film - people will never go see that..." - in spite of the fact that this really isn't a dialogue heavy film, and that the people who flocked to Pan's Labyrinth didn't appear to...
